The Dezjorn International Foundation mission is to educate, empower, and inspire people of marginalized communities to advance equality and equal opportunity through scholarships, volunteers, programs, recreation, distribution, and collaborating with existing organizations/programs.
On March 11th, the WHO declared COVID-19 a pandemic. I wanted to reach out to you personally about what we are doing here at Dezjorn International to support you and your travel plans. As the situation around novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, we are doing everything we can to ensure your travel safety and provide maximum flexibility.
As it has always been, the safety and security of our clients and team members remains our highest priority. We are monitoring the latest information on the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, including reports and travel advisories from the World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and other public health authorities. We will comply with federal, state and local mandates around large group meetings as those guidelines are set.
•Scheduled conferences are being cancelled & we will keep clients/staff updated on those changes as them come in.
• Youth Nite program has cancelled all events through April.
• DIA has postponed summer league practices, games, and tournaments
•Majority of DI staff work remotely and will continue for ALL STAFF until further notice.
•We are actively working to refund, reschedule, and credit our member accounts. We are experiencing a high volume, please be patient as we coordinate with organizations.
We know that this may be scary for some, particularly anyone with weakened or compromised immune systems, but we assure you we are actively finds ways to operate without risking health factors.
•Air filters have been replaced at all DI locations
•Antibacterial soap & Hand Sanitizer available at all DI locations
•The DIF Inc is preparing to distribute WeCare Packages
We do encourage you to assess your own risks depending on your current health/age/other circumstances etc.

* Do not touch your face (eyes, nose, mouth)
* Be mindful of avoiding contact with sick people
* Seek medical advice at first signs of matching symptoms.
